  • Follow Latest News

A Savannah River Site contractor, Savannah River Remediation, was honored recently with five safety awards.

Three awards were from the National Safety Council and included two Operational Excellence honors for organizations whose injury rates were at least 50 percent better than industry averages and a Million Hour award for 2 million worker hours without injury-related absence.

They were presented by the council's South Carolina chapter. The company will also receive two South Carolina Chamber of Commerce awards for companies with a commendable occupational injury rate.

Congrats to SRR. Obviously

Congrats to SRR. Obviously they've got good management. Can't say the same for SRNS. Don't think they'll get aany safety awards considering their recent track record.
