COLUMBUS, Ga. - A man accused of abducting and sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in Columbus has been sentenced to life in prison.

The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reports that Marcus Wade was sentenced Friday in the January 6, 2010 attack.

Authorities say Wade abducted the girl as she was on her way to school, forced her to remove her clothes and assaulted her in a park bathroom. Authorities say Wade also exposed himself to two 13-year-olds that morning and robbed a man that afternoon.

Authorities say that Wade exposed himself to a woman the next day and then forced another woman into her car at gunpoint and made her drive to a bank to get money before driving off with her 3-year-old grandson in the car. The child was later found safe.

Wonder who else he hurt- no

Wonder who else he hurt- no one is normal, normal, normal and then suddenly do something like that.

You can read the terrible details here, along with his mug shot.

But why didn't the AC say that he received four life sentences?

"Judge John Allen wanted Wade classified as a sex predator, the highest level of classification that sex offenders can have in the state of Georgia. In order to do that, Wade had to have some level of probation so the judge sentenced him to 30 years of probation after his concurrent life sentences. Prosecutors, however, do not expect him to ever be a free man again....Marcus Wade won't be eligible for parole for 30 years."

30 years is too soon.
