SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Authorities say a woman who veered off a Spartanburg street and struck three children blamed a frosty windshield for the collision.

Spartanburg police said in a news release the children were hit around 7 a.m. Monday and didn't suffer life-threatening injuries.

Police say a 41-year-old woman driving the SUV told officers she didn't clear all the frost off her windshield before she started to drive.

The woman is charged with driving too fast for conditions and driving without a license in her possession.

So she didn't clear off all

So she didn't clear off all of the windshield?.? Yup she's at fault. The driver is responsible to ensure that all fields of vision are clear.

The frosty windshield did not

The frosty windshield did not cause the accident. Like the 1st poster said, she needs to clear all her windows before moving the car. Just like wet roads do not cause accidents's the driver who refuses to drive according to the conditions of the road.
