Expert on rivers to speak here Thursday

  Ben Mathes, president and founder of the Rivers of the World organization, will be the guest speaker at the Second Annual Rotary Founders Dinner on Thursday, March 10, at the Augusta Mariott Hotel and Suites. Since 1978, Mathes has traveled the world in behalf of international health development, explorations and Christian missions. He has worked extensively in The Congo, Kenya, Cameroon, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan, El Salvador, Brasil, Belize, Ecuador, Honduras, Haiti, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Dominican Republic and Guatemala.  The group’s website is
