2 men rob Augusta fish market

Authorities are searching for two men who robbed the Hunting Island Fish Market on Thursday evening.

The men, armed with an assault rifle and revolver, entered the business at 2626 Barton Chapel Road around 9:30 p.m. and demanded money, according to a Richmond County Sheriff's Office incident report.

One of the men took about $100 in cash and another $100 in change from behind the counter before fleeing, the report said.

They were last seen traveling east on Barton Chapel Road in what appeared to be a blue or black Nissan with a large dent in the driver's side, deputies said.
