Purse snatched after woman blacks out, wrecks

  • Follow Latest News

Someone stole a woman's purse from her car Thursday after she passed out and caused a wreck in the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, a Richmond County Sheriff's Office report shows.

Alicia Sapp told deputies around 12:30 p.m. that she knew her purse was on the passenger seat right before she passed out and wrecked, but someone must have stolen it while she was blacked out, the report states.

She was unable to give more complete details because of her injuries, deputies said.

Now THAT is lowest of the

Now THAT is lowest of the low. Hope the scumbag is caught. What a loser to steal a woman's purse in this manner. How about calling her some help? I firmly believe that what GOES around COMES around. Hope it comes around soon for that purse snatcher.

I wonder what was the cause

I wonder what was the cause of her blackout. If she was medically prone to having blackouts then why does she have a driver's license? If she had been drinking/drugs and blacked out then perhaps her purse was left behind at the last place she'd been?
It doesn't look like we don't have the entire story here.....

"And just as the officer

"And just as the officer asked Alicia for her driver's license and proof of insurance, she remembered her purse was on the front seat of the car and surely it must have been stolen" ... Just kidding folks, I don't really know if that happened but this story seems a little off!

I agree with sassylassie.....

I agree with sassylassie..... whatever the reason for the poor woman's blackout, this is an all-time low. She wasn't just passed out in the car, there had been a wreck and the thief didn't worry one bit that she may need help. It just helped itself to her belongings.

MLK Boulevard? Please. The "good samaritan" rule doesn't apply here. Someone needs an energy drink. Redistribution of wealth takes many forms.

@Rolling eyes....Alicia is my

@Rolling eyes....Alicia is my mother and she does not drink nor does she do drugs. She blacked out because her hemoglobin dropped very low. She had to get a blood transfusion today and the scum who stole her purse used her card at 12:40 at the store right up the street (I called Bank of America to cancel her card). She has never blacked out before...and she was on her lunch break....and she has a drivers license because she can drive and this is the first time something like this ever happened....so now u know the whole story...and she has FULL coverage as well...everyone who has a tragedy happen to them isn't a dishonest drug addict...
