Citi Trends employees were robbed at gunpoint Tuesday evening, according to Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Robbie Silas.

The two armed men approached the employees as they were leaving the clothing store at 1329 Augusta West Parkway around 10:30 p.m. The gunmen forced the employees back into the business where they took an undetermined amount of money, Silas said.

They drove away in a black or dark - colored vehicle toward Wheeler Road.

Gee wonder how the perp knew

Gee wonder how the perp knew what time they would be leaving the store? Inside information. Too cheap to let Wells Fargo pick up the money daily, etc. Night drops have been problematic for years. it's a shame my daughter and son likes to shop their stores. Personally, I won't go near them.
