Davidson student wins international award

Logan Collier, a senior at Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School, won the Digital Promise Award from the International Student Media Festival, the Richmond County School System announced today.

Collier is in the school's broadcasting and film program. He is one of three students internationally to win the award based on teacher recommendation.

As a point of reference for how many students participate in the Media Festival, at the state level, more than 3,300 students submit entries that have already passed through a county level judging.
