Kenny Jackson was arrested today in connection with a wreck on Jan. 8 that killed two women on U.S. Highway 278, near Beech Island, in Aiken County.

Jackson, 29, of the 100 block of Bell Drive, is charged with two counts of felony DUI with death and one count felony DUI with great bodily injury. A bond hearing was scheduled for 3 p.m. today.

The wreck happened when Jackson reportedly crossed the center line into the eastbound lane and into the path of an oncoming car. The car's driver, Brenda Adams, 47, was pronounced dead at the scene; her rear passenger, 54-year-old Sheila Roberts was pronounced dead at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital. Both were from Aiken.

This wreck occurred on

This wreck occurred on January 8th, one person dead at the scene, another died at MCG, and only now has the drunk driver been arrested? Why the delay, he should have been in jail immediately.
