A local man told police he was robbed at gunpoint Monday night of his mountain bike on the corner of Metcalf and Fenwick streets, according to a Richmond County sheriff's incident report.

The 48-year-old victim said he was riding his bike when two men pulled up beside him, showed a gun and demanded that he give them his bike.  The victim told police that after the robbers loaded his bicycle into the trunk of their car, they told him to start walking.

According to police, the victim, who appeared to be intoxicated, stopped answering questions.  After stating he did not wish to prosecute, he  began walking home.
