Icy conditions are making it extremely hazardous for the carriers to deliver this morning's edition of The Augusta Chronicle.

We apologize for the delay and ask your patience.

Tech didn't close today? They

Tech didn't close today? They really need to. The teachers and students don't need to be endangering themselves trying to get there. I can look out my door and see a solid sheet of ice on my road. I wouldn't even try to walk much less drive. But I digress. We can read the paper online and let the carriers stay safe until later.

These are bad conditions and

These are bad conditions and we are not used to driving in this type of weather. There doesn't even have to be other cars on the road...the roads are slippery. We really have so much to be grateful for. A newspaper? We are fortunate to have the internet. Some people don't have power, food, clothing, etc. Many of us are just inconvenienced. We are so blessed, sometimes, we never take the time just to say, "Thank you." Just sit in a warm home, with food, water, clothing, family and say, "Thank you." There are homeless people hating this weather more than we ever could. They shouldn't endanger the lives of Waste Management, Mail Carriers, or newspaper deliverers. It's not worth it.

All schools and colleges

All schools and colleges should be closed, its enough wrecks on the road ways without adding more.

Can't believe some people!

Can't believe some people! Person called mgmt and demanded their paper be redelivered (they couldn't find it in the snow). Poor carrier, fell and busted her rear trying to get the paper to their porch! Some people have nothing better to do than be inconsiderate! Come on folks, I know you pay for a subscription, but show some compassion!!!!
