Bullets tore through a Hephzibah home and a car parked in the driveway around 7:30 p.m. Friday, but none of the four people inside were injured, a Richmond County sheriff’s report states.

The resident said he was sitting in his son’s bedroom when he heard gunshots and a “zipping noise” outside the house on the 2700 block of Pebble Creek Court.

He told deputies he saw “numerous” bullet holes in the living room walls and a bullet in the hallway. Deputies said they also observed a bullet hole and a broken window in a Toyota Corrolla parked outside the house.

Isn't pebble creek located

Isn't pebble creek located off Morgan Road? When I saw the headline it made me think it actually happen in the city limits of Hephzibah...

Are you saying it isn't

Are you saying it isn't relevant to you if it happened outside the city limits of Hephzibah? If it's close enough for a Hephzibah mailing address (if that is the case), then it's close enough to be concerned about, or to affect the real estate values in Hephzibah city limits if that is your primary concern.

Seriously, it doesn't matter

Seriously, it doesn't matter where it happened, it is YET AGAIN in Richmond County. Hephzibah, Blythe, Augusta, its all the same. Being an EMT with Rich. Co. 911, I personally have HAD ENOUGH!! I live in Heph. but work in "the armpit", that is downtown AUG. STOP furloughing our deputies & START putting an end to violence in AUGUSTA! These people have no respect for anything because they have been raised by "nothing", no Mom, no Dad, NOBODY to care & teach them responsibility.

traumaqueen Saturday, Dec. 25 11:06 PM Seriously, it doesn't matter where it happened, it is YET AGAIN in Richmond County. Hephzibah, Blythe, Augusta, it’s all the same.

Love your name Trauma-Queen, ha hahahah
Seriously everybody she nailed it. This is OUR PROBLEM not somebody else’s. And it's NOT JUST Augusta, it's all over. Augusta isn't even in as bad of shape as a lot of other places. There are actually CRIME REFUGEES moving here from other places that are a lot worse. Per Capita Aiken County has more unsolved murders and fleeeing & evading felons than we do which was a shocker to me having lived over there on the river for over 10 yrs. Some of their WORST have skipped from Aiken county and are, as you read this fleeing all over the CSRA. We are forming the AugustaCrimeStoppers non profit and doing a TV show to quick draw on the bad guys, text their picures in and take the bad boys off the streets before TraumaQueen has to meet them at their worst.. We now have up to 5 million dollar rewards on TV every week to take a Bite out of crime. Practice your quick drawing your camera phones cause soon it's gonna earn all of you cash money just for being quick on the draw. We all need to pull together on this, as the lives we save may be our own.
Merry Christmas 2010 E*V*E*R*Y*B*O*D*Y

gun play? guns are deadly

gun play? guns are deadly serious. there is no "gun play" unless you are at a shooting match. bullets don't have a mind of their own, they go where they are aimed.

that's far from "play". "numerous" bullet holes in a small area are indicative of aiming, not random chance.

Putting more tax dollars into
Unpublished

Putting more tax dollars into the unions and the police will not affect such incidents. How can U constantly be yapping about MORE places where people can bring guns legally, but act surprised when such things happen. The more guns around, the more this will happen. But notice the difference when particular individuals are involved, like this article's title using "gunplay" as a verb. That means NO, repeat NO minority citizens are involved. This case appears to be just boys being boys out in the countryside, while playing with their firearms. Notice the absence of potential charges which is another dead giveaway of an absence of any minority citizens....nothing new here, just more evidence that the more guns, the merrier.

Crime Reports and Rewards

Crime Reports and Rewards TV.........Comparing Apples to Oranges, right? Since Aiken County is three times larger than Richmond County, those stats are understandible. Facts according to the U.S. Census are, 1080 square miles to 324 square miles respectively.

AutumnLeaves, The reason it

AutumnLeaves,

The reason it makes a difference to countryman is so he can claim it did not happen in 'Augusta.'

He lives in some fantasy world where Augusta is not in any trouble at all.

In his Bizzarro-Augusta, there is no poverty, hunger, crime, despair, unemployment, or problem what so ever! The Mandate Mayor, Deke "Ironman" Copenhaver is a visonary leader surrounded by a team of visonary and progressive leaders. There is no corruption, greed, deception, or abuse of power. Bizzarro-Augusta is a great place, so great that people are moving there in droves to live and work.

And we can't have things like drive by shootings on Christmas Day in his world,

Brad

No surprise here. Just

No surprise here. Just another ho-hum shooting in
the area.

Brad
I thought people were moving to Augusta because of the easy pickings. Whether welfare or theft, it seems to be fertile ground...

tramuaqueen, get the driver

tramuaqueen, get the driver to drive slow to the hospital with one of the shooters but not the victim. Who cares if one of these thugs dies on the way. Law abiding citizens do not and certainly not the victims.
