Teen dies in wreck on way to class

A 17-year-old on her way to Thomson High School on Tuesday morning was killed instantly when her vehicle ran into a log truck.

Sgt. Ritchie Howard, of the Georgia State Patrol, identified the victim as Hali Fuller, of the 3300 block of Sand Hill Road, Thomson.

The accident took place on Mount Pleasant Road about 7:20 a.m. five miles south of Thomson.

My prayers to her family and friends.......I have a 17 year old step son at home and can't imagine getting that kind of news. Kids, please be careful behind the wheel....And NO texting while driving......Nothing is so important that it can't wait a few minutes.

I know from my own experience, losing a child is devastating. My prayers go out for this family as nothing will be the same following this situation. May God bless and watch over this family.
