Multiple media outlets report that deputies found Elizabeth Wilson in her Mayesville home at 8:45 p.m. Monday. Sumter County Coroner Harvin Bullock says Wilson died after she was beaten with a baseball bat.

Sheriff Anthony Dennis says Wilson's 55-year-old son is being questioned in his mother's death.

A neighbor says another son ran out of Wilson's home yelling that his brother had gone crazy and killed their mother.

Dennis says no one has been charged in Wilson's death.
