Police raid metro Atlanta drug house

NORCROSS, Ga.  — Police and federal drug agents have conducted a raid on a house in Norcross.

Police say the raid late Monday and early Tuesday was at a suspected drug house. WSB Radio reports that agents were seen wheeling large barrels from the home overnight.

Agents with Gwinnett County Police, Norcross Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration took part in the raid. WSB reported that agents wore hazmat suits as they removed items from the house.

Police haven't said yet what they found inside the house.

AJC reports 44 million (street value) of meth. About 933 lbs. That's a good drug bust. Imagine the cleanup and costs.
