The National Weather Service has lifted the severe thunderstorm warning and tornado watch from almost all of the CSRA.

The lone exception is Aiken County, which still is under a tornado watch until 4 a.m.

If a tornado is spotted, act quickly and move to a place of safety in a sturdy structure, such as a basement or a small interior room, the weather service advises.

Large hail, damaing winds or flooding should be reported to your county sheriff or the National Weather Service at (877) 633-6772.

The sun is out. It is quiet

The sun is out. It is quiet and beautiful this afternoon!

I would like to apply for a job where I can be wrong 80% of the time and still be employed. (not poking at the Chronicle Staff, but rather at the weather "forecasters")

Watched the storm clouds

Watched the storm clouds split and pass around Augusta area again. This anomaly(for the country) should have been addressed by now since it happens most of the time. I wonder what causes it? Could Bush still be mad about never carrying RC?

Now, now.. Let's be fair..

Now, now.. Let's be fair.. The day isn't over yet and they have been saying tonight for 2 days. So, the forecasters aren't wrong yet!
I do get what you're saying though, compared to Augusta, North Augusta NEVER gets these bad storms.
So when they say *some*, they literally mean some!
