Man robbed while trying to buy crack

  • Follow Latest News

A man told deputies Saturday that two men robbed him of $200 when he showed up to buy crack cocaine, a report states. The robbery happened around 2:30 a.m. behind a house on the 2100 block of Third Avenue, the rendezvous point where Brian Walker expected to buy drugs from a man known as "T. "

Two men grabbed him, emptied his pockets and told him not to call police. Walker told deputies he picked up a woman named Carolyn to help him find the robbers, then later admitted he had also paid to have sex with her, a report states. Carolyn called Walker's wife later that morning looking for Walker.

Surely this must be some kind of joke. He's married, out buying crack, gets robbed while buying crack and calls police to report the incident, his paid prostitute called his wife to confirm his whereabouts. Augusta needs a reality tv show.

Most NORMAL people would

Most NORMAL people would never even admit to this happening to them, let alone calling the sheriff's department. The South is full of Jerry Springer candidates, the show will never run out of crazies. He should have chalked that $200.00 loss as a learning experience. I can't believe these people actually exist out there, thanks Chronicle for the info.

Time to find a new crack
Unpublished

Time to find a new crack dealer, dude! This guy "T" aint no good, man!
Carolyn sounds like a good sort, though. She called Walker's missus just to check up on him. That's nice. It's not often you find that in a hooker.

It's also great that Walker gave the hooker his home number. I think we're seeing the development of some deeper personal relationships here.

When reading the first few

When reading the first few lines, I thought it was April Fools and i've been in a turkey induced coma for the past 4 months.
WOW!! But this really isn't that strange for Augusta, well wait. The being robbed buying drugs nope. Normal.
Call police to report it nope. Has happened more than once.
Getting a hooker to help *find* the perps, then giving out your number so said hooker can call your wife, I do believe that is a first!
