A bag of money was reportedly stolen today from Our Lady of Peace School in North Augusta.

An employee told North Augusta Public Safety that the school was holding a special Thanksgiving lunch, so a lot of parents were in and out of the office in a short amount of time.

About 11:30 a.m., it was discovered that a large bag of money was missing, while two smaller bags were still there. The missing bag had $1,558 cash and $1,158 in checks inside, an incident report said.

Three bags of money, one big

Three bags of money, one big bag and two smaller bags, were left easily accessible to a lot of parents who were in and out? Someone who is in charge is either clueless or just needs to give the money back.

There is quite an interesting

There is quite an interesting forum going on about Our Lady of Peace. It was active shortly after the school's principal was suddenly fired by the parish priest and then died down. The one year anniversary - Nov. 23 - has caused the forum to have new life. Ironic that the missing money incident happened at the same time the forum is having a rebirth.
