A Pizza Hut in the 2800 block of Wrightsboro Road was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning.

An employee told Richmond County deputies that three men came in through a side door just after midnight and ordered her and two co-workers to l ie on the floor and not move, according to a report.

All three of the robbers held hand guns; no one was injured.

A report describes the robbers as black men, one of whom was wearing a brown hoodie sweatshirt with gold writing on it, brown shoes and blue jeans.

There's a book titled, More Guns, Less Crime by gun rights advocate, John Lot and you can get your copy at Amazon. Hardcover at $8.86 and softcover at $4.25. A quantity of used books are available at $0.43 each. A bargain for your Christmas gift list.

Seeing you usually are 100%

Seeing you usually are 100% anti gun, I am guessing your comment is sarcasm?
But in all actuality, you're promoting a good book most likely.
Because the crime rate regarding robberies, rape, etc.. are greatly decreasing! Just ask countyman, he'll tell ya:)

A police substation right
Unpublished

A police substation right across the street, imagine that. I guess all those cop cars are fake cardboard props to detour crime?

These criminals are just not

These criminals are just not being cooperative in Augusta. Haven't they seen the latest crime statistics in Augusta? Crime rates are dropping, not going up. You Augusta criminals need to do a little better homework before you guys commit your next crime!

Isn't this a "dog bites man"

Isn't this a "dog bites man" story? Couldn't this story be run almost every day with only an address change?

Suzy Q, the criminals will

Suzy Q, the criminals will release their guns when they get shot enough. A well armed society vastly increases the chances of a criminal getting shot, certainly by a huge percentage over an unarmed society. You see, the criminals will have a gun whether there is a gun law or not. "criminals".

I heard a radio caller this

I heard a radio caller this past week claim that "Illegal immigrants commit very few crimes in the area".......Uhhhhh, excuse me, but the FIRST word in the statement was ILLEGAL. So in actuality 100% of ILLEGAL immigrants are committing crimes. Whether statistics rise or fall from year to year is immaterial if YOU are the victim of any crime. Arm yourself, learn to use your weapon and then protect your family. THAT is the American way and it IS Constitutional.

Pommom38... I don't know if you're trying to be sarcastic or not. But armed robberies are down this year as of September 2010.

2010-307
2009-331

I'm not sure if armed robberies are down in Aiken County this year...

Armed robbery is probably NOT

Armed robbery is probably NOT down, just fewer people reporting it. A friend was robbed at knife point at a local business several months back, he never reported it. Not saying he's helping anything but some people for whatever reason don't report these crimes.

I want to know the employers

I want to know the employers that allow their employees to carry guns while they work other than police officers, security workers, and some bartenders.

Because I don't want to go there- I'm not interested in getting caught in a gunfight between a criminal and a victim.

If guns do not save lives

If guns do not save lives then how about pepper spray, knives, a big stick, or a stun gun. Is there anything wrong with those?

I know that johnston.cliff. It was just a little sarcasm aimed at gaspring for his/her pollyanna attitude that somehow criminals will respect gun control.
