North Augusta Pizza Hut robbed

NORTH AUGUSTA -- A North Augusta Pizza Hut employee told officers a man pushed her into the safe and demanded she hand over the money Monday evening, according to an incident report.

She was bent over putting the money in the safe around 11:10 p.m. at the 616 E. Martintown Road location when the subject ran in the store and pushed her into the safe, police said.

When he asked for the money, authorities said she handed a little over, but it wasn't enough. "Give me all the money," he said and then struck her in the face.

After receiving all the money, the man fled. Witnesses said he met up with another man behind the store. Both of the men then ran to Wendy's where they were picked up by a dark-colored SUV.

Why does Pizza Hut have a safe large enough to a person to fit into? I can understand a giant safe for WalMart, but a little restaurant?

Ran two blocks to Wendy's,

Ran two blocks to Wendy's, eh? Probably drove the speed limit after that or they surely would've been caught by NADPS.

Why was Pizza Hut's door

Why was Pizza Hut's door unlocked after 10? It's usually mandatory for every pizza place to close carry out and lock doors after 10. This is what happens if they don't.

Source: Used to work at Domino's as a teen.

I feel bad for the employee there. I can't imagine how frightened she was.

LOL @ the speed limit comment.

i think i would remember what

i think i would remember what someone looked like that struck me in the face, yet no description. "Criminiminals" , can't live with em, can't shoot um. Actually N. Augusta has more crime per capita than Augusta by a MILE. Then when you give your SS# to the NADPS they leave it butt naked on cyber space so every ID thief in the world can have at it. When one steals your ID using a grade school software program they tell you they don't extradite ID thieves. You're on your own in N.A. At least in Augusta they have some of the best detectives in the world working here. There they have speed traps.
