SC women throw annual party to support Anita Hill

COLUMBIA  - A group of women who support Anita Hill's accusations of sexual harassment against then-Supreme Court justice nominee Clarence Thomas are meeting again in Columbia.

The 19th annual "We Believe Anita Hill" party is scheduled today.

The gathering began in 1992, a year after Hill testified during Thomas' confirmation hearings.

The women say they felt like Hill was treated wrong by lawmakers and vowed not to forget what happened.

Organizers say about 50 women came to the first party. They expect about 300 women for this year's event.

Hill returned to the headlines this week when a voice mail left by Thomas' wife asking Hill to apologize for the accusations became public.

Even after 25 million watched

Even after 25 million watched Anita Hill admit (on television) lying to congress about Clarance Thomas, many fools were convinced, after just one year of revising history, that she "misspoke". Dem voters can be SO dim.

A black person that doesn't know their place sure gets no respect from the socialist left.

This was a trick by the dems

This was a trick by the dems to derail Clarence Thomas that failed. That woman has a serious problem to go along.

olin, I watched Spectre

olin, I watched Spectre interview her. She admitted to lying. I was always amazed there was no follow-up on the event. Since her "testimony" was scripted by the left, it seems they also had some pretty good protection set up.

Black people who don't know their place don't get much respect from the left.

God bless women, and I'm married to a wonderful one, but if it were up to most of them, men would be relegated to rocking chairs.

Mrs. Thomas was as silly as

Mrs. Thomas was as silly as can be to ask Hill to apologize. That was like asking Hillary Clinton to get a job at Macy's in the make-up section.
