Terry has active arrest warrants for interference with child custody and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is described as being 5-foot-8-inches tall, 166 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Shelby or Terry are asked to call Columbia County sheriff’s Investigator E. Gary Harden at (706) 541-1044.

Ah, to be 16 again and "in love". OMG! I hope that this girl returns home as soon as possible. This is trouble already happening. She doesn't have a clue that in a couple of years she'll look back and not want to be reminded of this loser.

Let's hope and pray for the safe return of this young teen; what's a 22 year old doing with a 16 year-old anyway?

Unpublished

Come on folks... don't make it sound like it's "ALL" HIS fault. He's physically 22-- so about 18 mentally.... She's 16-- maybe 18 mentally, so they're about right for each other. Also, he doesn't appear to be very bright so who's the brains behind the duo??

Hopefully all will come out

Hopefully all will come out alright. However, if she is bent on getting away how are her parents to stop her?

Well my dad would have

Well my dad would have whipped my rear and locked me in a closet if that was the only way he could have kept me away from this type of guy. God rest his soul, he would have been right to do it. By the way, my prayers have been with this girl and her parents since I heard about this. I can't even imagine the anquish they must be going through.

TrukinRanger, don't ever make

TrukinRanger, don't ever make the mistake of thinking that all 16 year old girls have the maturity of 18 year old girls.

Many men have found to their dismay that the parents of the 16 year old girls do not share those sentiments- as seems to be the case here.

Any 16 year old that runs away from home with a 22 year old man in a stolen vehicle is NOT mature. It is a childish, immature act on both of their parts and will not end well.

What kinds of jobs do you expect that they will find? How will they feed themselves?

This is not the 1st child he

This is not the 1st child he has taken & ran away with!! He ran away with my neighbors 13 year old daughter TWICE a few years ago!!! They didn't do anything to him then because of his mental instability and probably wont this time too! He even took her across state lines!!!
