Small plane crash kills 2 in middle Georgia

MONTICELLO, Ga. (AP) - A small plane has crashed in middle Georgia killing two people.

FAA spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen tells WAGA-TV that the experimental RV6 plane crashed around 6:22 p.m. Saturday at Monticello Sky Ranch Airport in Jasper County.

The pilot and a passenger both died at the scene. The plane was destroyed by fire.
