Police: man, 19, beat and shot

  • Follow Latest News

A 19-year-old was beaten and shot Tuesday evening on the 1400 block of Poplar Street, according to incident report.

The man said he was walking with a friend when three men jumped out of a blue sedan and began beating him in the head and face, police said. A witness said one man fired a handgun at the 19-year-old, police said.

After being shot in the arm, the teenager ran toward Beulah Grove Baptist Church, where he called for help, police said.

The victim declined medical treatment and said he did not intend to press charges. He and the witness refused to write a statement, police said.

Law abiding citizens do not

Law abiding citizens do not decline medical attention and not wish to persue the matter when beaten and shot. He is part of the problem, not a true victim. Who cares if he wishes to prosecute, we need to step forward and make it happen. If the others, including this individual lie in any way shape or form then charge them with obstruction. Investigate either way as their is probably much more to the story and hopefully we can get a few more violent criminals off of our streets.

Here is the plan. "Attention all gang bangers and wanna be's. There will be a free give away of 9's at the JBA. Bloods enter from the south entrance and exit north, Crips enter from the north end and exit south. Gats will come with 1 full clip of hollow points"

One day and they all kill each other and no more gang problem.
