What child?
I imagine the driver did feel/see the walker, otherwise why leave the scene? He hit them, and hauled tail! Glad he will (hopefully) serve time for taking someones loved ones life.

Cobb Pkwy. is a major thoroughfare here, but it has very few blind spots. In my opinion, Gonzalez was impaired and the trash that hit the victim the second time and fled needs to be tied down on Cobb Pkwy. and run over repeatedly.
