Sanford will visit Aiken on Thursday

COLUMBIA -- As part of his weekly visits around the state, Gov. Mark Sanford will stop in Aiken on Thursday morning.

The Republican will make a 7 a.m. stop at Aiken Sunrise Rotary Club, 901 Houndslake Drive S.W.

On Friday, Sanford will attend a Cayce Business Breakfast at Brunches Family Restaurant, 1208 Knox Abbott Drive, Cayce; a Daughters of the American Revolution Constitution Week proclamation signing at 9 a.m. in his State House office; and a 10 a.m. dormitory demolition ceremony at  the Department of Juvenile Justice, 4900 Broad River Road, Columbia.

Now this is some hot news we can all use. I wonder if he will have any time left to work on unemployment, taxes or healthcare? I mean what could be more important than a DAR proclamation signing? Sounds like he is taking vacation time to me, because none of the visits are for state business.

Wow, the LuvGuv is still hanging around? Like a bad penny, he just keeps coming back. Maybe we'll be lucky, and one day he will lose his way returning from Argentina, and we'll never have to hear from him again.
