ATLANTA (AP) - A Georgia Power lineman severely burned in an explosion last month has died of his injuries.
Company officials said Kylan Warren died early Saturday morning. He was 25.
Warren was working in Milton last month when crews digging a hole to replace telephone poles hit a gas line. He had to jump 30 feet from the a utility truck bucket to the ground.
He suffered burns over 80 percent of his body.
His colleagues were taking part in a charity motorcycle ride Saturday from Atlanta to his hometown in Elijay. The proceeds will go to Warren's family.

Thank you onecatfish, your post was very informative. How sad.
Excellent reporting catfish. There are multiple sad stories in this one report and you brought it all together. All I can say is pray for those left behind and God be with those who were left behind.
Very sad & we worry too at times we have a love one working for the power company.....even with safety measures it still can be a very dangerous job.
