NORTH AUGUSTA - Authorities are reviewing surveillance video to identify a man who robbed Wendy's Wednesday evening, according to an incident report.
The cashier told officers the suspect entered the restaurant at 517 E. Martintown Road at 6:20 p.m., casually leaned over the counter and demanded money, police said.
The cashier said she though he was joking and asked if he was serious. He replied that he was serious and would shoot her and everyone in the store is she didn't fulfill his request, police said.
After receiving the money, the suspect was seen walking west on Martintown Road.
Right slap in the middle of North Augusta. NAPD cant catch 'em unless they is speedin' LOL Since the guy was walking they never stood a chance!
Indigo. Just like RC, there is no money in catching a crook. But there is big money in radar. What does the motto say on the cruisers, isn't it serve and protect? If we want to have law enfircement, quit giving a percentage of fines to law enforcement, rather make all fines part of the general fund of the state. That way the local sheriffs don't have a financial stake in what they are sworn to do. But it will never happen.
Just wait and see. You guys must have all been ticketed over here; good.
Dissman, I don't know about any cruisers on the GA side of the river having the motto "protect and serve" on the side. I'll bet it's ok with you when the officers provide the service part, huh? What is the problem with protecting me from unsafe drivers? And, do you even know what kind of divisions are within each agency? And do you know what each division is responsible for? Let the reckless drivers pay the price for their "indiscretions" and tax me less. Funny how some people want some laws enforced and not the others. Funny also how citizens think nothing of calling the police when they lock the keys in their car in their own driveway. But then get mad because crime is rampant. The police can be aggressive and protect, or they can be passive and serve.
Who's got the most uncaught most wanted thugs on the loose in the CSRA???
North Augusta that's who. If they aren't speeding and there is no money in catching REAL criminals they DON'T even chase them. They also don't go after ID theives even after i gave them his home address when they are the ones who the ID theif got my SS# from after reporting a theft from my river home by leaving their server on all night. We’re going to start calling N.Augusta Cops DOG COPS because all they can do is chase CARS! ha ahha ahahha ahhahah aha ah ahahah.

North Augusta=Speed Trap incorporated=The laughing stock of the CSRA.
Augusta's most wanted? There is no such thing. Just a big steamy heap...
"After receiving the money, the suspect was seen walking west on Martintown Road." Sounds like he wasn't too worried about being caught.
What good is an article with no description of the suspect and no pictures from the surveillance footage?
Way to go AC!!! Three crime stories in a row with no description of the perp. I don't know who you have writing the crime stories today but their initials must be PC.
Were they green-pink-polka dot...come on AC..
like dichotomy said......give us a clue!
PC Reports;
Green-Pink-Polka-dot perp headed west on foot in North Augusta with NO CHANCE of arrest... Ha hahahah North Augusta=Speed Trap=Dog Cops, You can't make this stuff up! ha ahaha ahahah ahah
That ain't all, this morning at 6:10AM McDonald's on Georgia Ave was (successfully robbed, by a black male in a TOPCOAT! (can you say crackhead?) Last seen walking up Knox Ave towards CVS Drugstore.
Where's the VIDEO? How do the cops expect help identifying crooks if there is no video or pictures? I guess the incoming tips would interrupt the radar stakeout.
OR, the AC doesn't want to loose them as customers.
North Augusta does go hard after people speeding in the city limits...
I hope the wendys and mc d's robbers both run into the armed prepared victim that will teach them the lesson they deserve and our ignorant bleeding heart justice system wont.
