NEWARK, N.J. - New Jersey's attorney general will not investigate a fatal police shooting of an unarmed CEO from Georgia.
The state chapter of the American Cvivil Liberties Union last week requested Paula Dow open an inquiry into the death of Defarra Gaymon.
The married father of four, who headed the Atlanta City Employees Credit Union, was shot on July 16 by an undercover detective. The detective was investigating complaints of people having sex in a Newark park.
Authorities claimed Gaymon was engaged in a sex act when he approached the detective. Officials said there was a chase and the officer fired one shot after the 48-year-old reached in his pocket and lunged at the officer.
The attorney general says there's "no indication of a conflict with the Essex County Prosecutor's Office handling the case fairly and impartially."

YOU need not see the gun only fear for your life ,with reason to believe you will be harmed . he did not obey the officers orders but kept coming(HEhe)with hand in pocket .

his race was mentioned in the first article about this and when it comes to the civil liberties its a no brainer what his race was they dont bat an eye when a white gets shot.....but i do believe there were riots and a cop went to jail for pulling out his gun and killing a black guy that WAS resisting arrest..he told everyone he meant to pull out his taser oooops
