The Art Factory has received a $5,000 grant from the Cullum Foundation for their Art @ School program.
The grant will allow for the expansion of the program into another Richmond County elementary school by funding one artist’s residency for 24 weeks during the 2010-2011 school year.
The Art @ School program provides children with instruction in visual art, dance and drama. Last year, the program was awarded the Georgia Assembly of Community Arts Agencies’ Kaleidoscope Award for Outstanding Community Arts Program.
