A Columbus, Ga., man was robbed by two men seeking cigarettes downtown this morning, according to a Richmond County Sheriff's Office n incident report.
The victim told officers the two men approached him at 1:10 a.m. at 11th and Greene streets asking for cigarettes. He handed over two cigarettes but refused when they also asked for a light.
One subject then punched the man and pulled out a box cutter. The victim struggled with the man cut to his hand, police said.
The thieves took the victim’s cell phone from its holder on his belt before running away 10th Street.
"Sheriff's Office n incident report", "struggled with the man cut to his hand", 'before running away 10th Street." Newspaper article or a text? lol Which one got cut? The victim or the waste of flesh? Hopefully the loser thief did bad enough to require an ER visit so they can catch the lowlife.
countyman says this crime should be counted towards the statistics in Columbus not Augusta.
"The victim struggled with the man cut to his hand, police said".
Hmmmm. I think that at least one word was left out of that sentence.
I am glad I don't live downtown anymore. Everyday if some bum saw me outside I would get asked for something. Luckily nothing like this happened to me, they would be DRT.
I don't care if the report reads like a text, what are the descriptions of the robbers? Surely the victim saw them, right? What’s up with withholding the descriptions??? Are the cops withholding the description or the AC??? At LEAST tell U.S. that much.
