Um, that was me? I just mislaid my ticket? Could I have the money now and I'll give it to you if I find it?
AIKEN -- The South Carolina Education Lottery is still looking for the lucky winners of a $250,000 Mega Millions ticket.
The ticket matched all five white numbers in the July 16 Mega Millions drawing, but didn’t match the Megaball. The winning numbers are 2, 15, 18, 20 and 39, according to Stephanie Hemminghaus, spokeswoman with the state Education Lottery.
Who purchased the ticket also has cashiers at the Kent’s Korner stumped. The ticket was sold at the 678 East Pine Log Road location, but manager Sonya Wells said employees have no idea who would have bought it and have asked everyone coming into the convenience store.
“We’ve asked everybody and even looked at the times we thought it was bought to narrow it down,” said Wells. “We’re just waiting.”
Wells said the higher the Megaball jackpot goes, the more tickets they sell, but regulars hadn’t changed their buying habits for this particular drawing. That night’s jackpot was $64 million. A winning ticket with the gold Megaball number of 34 was sold in Los Angeles, according to Hemminghaus.
Had the Aiken player correctly chosen the Megaball number, he or she would have split the $64 million with the player who purchased the winning ticket in California.
The player has 180 days from the day of the drawing to claim the prize. Kent’s Korner will also receive 1 percent of the winning ticket as a bonus when the prize is claimed.
“We’re just hoping that it gets publicized and someone claims the ticket,” Wells said.

OH YEAH DIXIE that' the ticket we were partners on I rember, where did WE put that ticket
"Had the Aiken player correctly chose the Megaball number..." I understand the AC is racing to get their stories out to the public and be the "first to report" but please proofread your stories before putting them online. It's sloppy.
Arccording to the Georgia Lottery website there are zero winners with 5 numbers. Conspiracy. Conspiracy. LOL.
Check out the Georgia Lottery site here:

9catheads, you have to go to the South Carolina Lottery website.

Each state only shows the winners from THAT particular state (it says it in the fine print below the winning numbers). The person bought the ticket in Aiken, SC, so of course Georgia's website doesn't show a 5 number ticket winner sold.
This confuses a lot of people since Megamillions and Powerball began to be sold in both states a couple months ago.
“mislaid”? Is that something like when Hilary misspoke?
9catheads: GA Lottery and SC Lottery are two different lotteries...No conspiracy just failure to comprehend.
I don't think its a failure to comprehend. They are two different lotteries but its the same exact lotto drawing in multiple states or did you not know that? Unless one does read the fine print they wouldnt know, its a little misleading, not a failure to comprehend. I bet had someone asked you about that info you would not have known unless you looked for it or are one of those die hard lotto players who spends all your money trying to get rich quick. I would assume also if they report the number of jackpot winners in all states in the same list, the rest would reflect the same. You just wanted to be mean instead of helpful. lol
It could be the Marshall family... no, they just won another lottery.
