McDONOUGH, Ga. — Henry County police are looking for a suspect accused of attempting to sexually assault an 85-year-old woman.

It happened around 1:15 Monday afternoon. Officials say the man knocked on the woman's door and offered lawn service. When she said she didn't need any, the victim tells police the man said he wanted a drink of water.

The woman tells police she closed and locked the door and when she returned with a beverage, the suspect forced his way into the house with a knife.

Once inside, the suspect attempted to sexually assault the woman but fled when he was unsuccessful.

The woman was treated for a small laceration on her right arm by paramedics.
