Stink bombs set off at south Augusta video store

Stink bombs were set off Thursday in the Celebrity Video store on the 3900 block of Old Waynesboro Road.

The store owner told a deputy that two young men in their late teens came into the store shortly before noon and split up, one heading to the bathroom, the other to the back aisle. The owner heard two small bangs, then the two men ran out the store and pedaled away on bicycles toward Cross Creek High School, a report states.

The reporting deputy said he collected two stink bombs from the store and will use video footage from the store to identity the suspects.
