Festival today, Saturday at Plum Branch

A two-day Freshwater Coast Festival and membership drive for the Carolina Beach Music Academy will be held today and Saturday at the Plum Branch Yacht Club on Thurmond Lake in Plum Branch, S.C.

Admission is $15 and includes access both days, and membership in the academy, whose members have the opportunity to vote for the best bands, writers, entertainers and performers in the beach music industry.

Today's events begin at 8 p.m. with The Out-of-Towners Band and DJ Pat Patterson. Saturday activities begin at 2 p.m. with performances by Billy Jeffords, Brasstyme, The Fabulous Shades, Gary Bass, Pat Patterson, The Royal Scotsmen Band, Rhonda McDaniel and the Shrimp Shack Band. be sure not to wear anything remotely resembling an American flag,the illegals will be offended by your patriotism and you will be required to remove the patriotic symbol or sent packing.just as they did yesterday in the ca.high school.the illegal students were allowed to sport mexican national flags on U.S. territory and legal U.S. students were sent home.does this seem a LITTLE bass ackwards?
