Authorities are searching for a 43-year-old mentally disabled man who has been missing from a hospital since this morning.
Bobby Earl Henslee Jr. was last seen at Gracewood State Hospital about 2:45 a.m., according to a Richmond County sheriff's report. Hospital officials believe he left the hospital through an unsecured window about 3:15 a.m. Henslee could pose a threat to himself or others, according to the report.
He was last seen wearing a gray shirt with blue stripes, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. Henslee is described as white, with brown hair and hazel eyes, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 185 pounds.

Missing mental/elderly

Missing mental/elderly patients is becoming all too common. What is the staff doing at night? It's obvious they're not periodically or not periodically "enough" checking on the residents. Certain 3rd shift jobs require little more than just staying awake and semi alert, as opposed to "working" the entire shift. I wish someone would pay me money to "not go to sleep on duty"! Let's get it together staff.......these incidents don't always have a happy ending!!

The article states he was

The article states he was last seen at 2:45am and believe he left around 3:15am, evidently someone on the night shift WAS checking on him to know exactly what time of early morning he was last seen. I'm more concerned about the unsecured window.

If he is 5'5 and 185 lbs.

If he is 5'5 and 185 lbs. keep a check on all the Krispy Kreme's in Augusta. Someone of those proportions isn't going to get far without getting hungry. What was he doing with blue jeans and tennis shoes on at 2:15am? Shouldn't he have been appropriately dressed for bed?

Hey Maninthemirror, is it

Hey Maninthemirror, is it possible he was dressed for bed, but then changed into whatever clothes were in his room? The staff should have an inventory of his clothing, and can therefore say what he's probably wearing. However, they still shouldn't say he was last seen with those clothes on if he really wasn't. Some people do fall asleep fully dressed, though.

Well there's no fence around

Well there's no fence around the property, so it's really not that hard for someone to escape from Gracewood.
