A 29-year-old Martinez man who was hit by a vehicle Wednesday near his home on Old Evans Road remains in the hospital today.
Brandon Fleeman was listed in serious condition this afternoon, according to a Medical College of Georgia Hospital spokeswoman.
Fleeman was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup truck as he walked in the 300 block of Old Evans Road, Columbia County sheriff's Deputy Ted Powers said.
Rudy Rosado, 30, of Evans swerved to avoid hitting a vehicle that was stopped for traffic, Powers said.
