The Aiken Department of Public Safety said this morning it plans to charge a local man with filing a false report after he accidentally shot himself, but blamed it on someone else.
According to a news release, Lt. David Turno said investigators will be charging Stephon Carter the victim in a recent shooting in Crosland Park once he is discharged from the hospital.
