AIKEN - Aiken Department of Public Safety has issued warrants for suspects wanted in the shooting of two Augusta brothers earlier this week.
John Henry West, 29, and Joseph Bernard Williams Jr., 22, are wanted for two counts of assault and battery with intent to kill, Public Safety Lt. David Turno said in a news release.
De Lance Walton, 18, and De Lacy Walton, 20, both of Dallas Drive, were seriously injured in the shooting that occurred around 2 a.m. Monday, said Public Safety Sgt. Aaron Dowdy.
Witnesses told police that a fight broke out at Club Dreams located in the 600 block of Richland Avenue, and shots were discharged following the fight shortly before 2 a.m.
The fight later ended at the Waffle House in the 1700 block of Richland Avenue around 2 a.m., when both brothers were shot, Sgt. Dowdy said.

Couldn't be from Augusta. We don't have a gang problem here according to the sheriff, and I haven't read anywhere that he has changed his mind and is willing to take the radar units down or use the DARE resources to combat it.

Someone needs to start "profiling" these people so we can get all these murderers off the street. I ain't seeing many white folks in gangs and out murderin' for the hell of it. Come to think of it, there aren't many white boys hollering about the system "keeping them down". Don't build more prisons, start shooting them. After a few fall they will start wondering if a life of crime is worth it. Right now they think it's worth it. Gotta change their mind set.
All one needs to know about the 'alleged' suspect is contained in the description. None given; that speaks volumes. (Yes, I saw the mug shot- most people won't.)
How much more is going to be on the news about Club "Dreams"? How many more shot before they shut it down? Seems like an ideal place for the wrecking ball. But if they tear it down, another will replace it in record time, kinda like an ant hill.
If you are in a Waffle House at 2am you need to be shot.

DeLance and DeLacy were just un-DeLucky. We can solve gang problems if we think with their mentality; or lack thereof. They are all trying to be "big cheese", "king of the tribe", "fat cat", etc. Build a huge cement prison yard with armed guards on top of 50 foot walls so no one can climb out. Give them all pistols...let them loose...and who ever survives is the "king of the tribe" and gets 1 hour a day out of solitary.It's what they are doing now but this way it is controlled. Once you get to 50 or more prisoners, hold that same type of "big shot of the gang" game, etc etc.
Not only can you croak from the Country Ham and smothered and covered, but now you can get shot.
I think these folks have migrated to Aiken with the closing of that young folks club in North Augusta. They got kicked out of Augusta when that club got closed. Then North Augusta closed them down. Now it is time to see what Aiken is made of as far as dealing with them.
What woman in her right mind would date a hoodlum with hair that probably hasn't seen any shampoo for years? Just plain nasty and stinky.
