NORTH AUGUSTA - Republican Bill Hixon filed Tuesday for South Carolina House of Representatives District 83.
The North Augusta businessman said he hopes to recruit new jobs to Aiken and Edgefield counties.
"I will use my years of experience in economic development to help bring good, new, high-paying jobs to our community," Hixon said in a news release.
He also plans to address keeping taxes low, improving education, keeping government from growing out of control and preserving the quality of life in his campaign.
