Authorities have arrested a man in connection with a shooting about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 2900 block of Shelby Drive.
Alexander Howard II, 28, of the 2800 block of Ann Street, is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, according to Richmond County jail records.
Investigator Sean Cochran said the victim, who was shot at least twice, was in surgery Tuesday night. Investigators were trying to determine the motive.

No one said anything was funny about the shooting. We do not know enough details to know if it was funny or not yet. Just because you may doesn't mean anything. In case you didn't catch it, we are referring to the reporting of the AC, that has nothing to do with the incident.
Oh and btw, just because someone has 2 kids does not mean they are a good person. Give more info since you know the details please. The shootings could be a couple of armed robbers, gang bangers or murderers who got what they deserved. We do not have that info yet. I do pray innocent people were not injured in any case, if they have, my prayers for God to Bless them in a recovery.
Aggravated assault is the correct charge. It is the equivalent of attempted murder. Seriously.
What happened to the Lumpkin Rd. area... we used to walk these roads as kids & felt safe. The only thing our parents worried about then was a car hitting us.
