Aiken County sheriff's investigators arrested a Wagener man Monday in the death of a man whose body was found as a result of a fire believed to be arson.
Dashawn Sanders, 31, of Sharon Lane in Wagener, will be charged with murder and arson first, Aiken County sheriff's Sgt. Dave Myers said.
Sheriffs deputies and firefighters from the Wagener Fire Department responded to a fire at 526 Buckboard Road in Wagener about 7:30 p.m. Saturday. After the fire was extinguished, the body of George Griffin was discovered. Sheriff's investigators were called to the scene and deemed the incident a homicide investigation.
Sanders is being in the Aiken County Detention Center.
AC, here's one of those sentences that don't make sense.
"Dashawn Sanders, 31, of Sharon Lane in Wagener, will be charged with murder and arson first, Aiken County sheriff's Sgt. Dave Myers said."
So what is he going to be charged with second, third, and fourth?
Give the trash the death penalty. No plea, because you can bet Mr. Griffin pleaded for his life and we know how that turned out.
I guess Sanders thought he could get rid of the truth but looks like the truth found him out!
