AIKEN - Two brothers are recovering at Aiken Regional Medical Centers after a Monday morning shooting at an Aiken nightclub, and police are asking the public for details of the incident.

De Lance Walton, 18, was shot in his abdomen and hip, according to an Aiken Department of Public Safety report. De Lacy Walton, 20, was also shot, but there are no details on the nature of his wounds.

Witnesses told police that a fight broke out at Club Dreams in the 600 block of Richland Avenue and shots were fired.

One of the victims entered the Waffle House in the 1700 block of Richland Avenue around 2 a.m., and said he had been shot but quickly left the scene, according to the report. It was unclear which brother reported the shooting to Waffle House workers.

Lt. David Turno said Aiken Regional and Waffle House personnel contacted police about the shooting victims about 2:15 a.m.

Investigators are asking witnesses to come forward and call Aiken Public Safety with information on the shooting.

Public Safety investigators said they attempted to interview as many as 20 witnessess, but all refused to cooperate.

Investigators are hoping someone with information will contact law enforcement with information relevant to the case, police said in a news release.

Persons with information are asked to call Aiken Public Safety at (803) 642-7620 or Crimestoppers at (888) CRIME-SC and remain anonymous.

That Richland Avenue Waffle

That Richland Avenue Waffle House has more incidents than any I know of. Anyways if you are out at that hour and not working then you are apt to find trouble.

Probably a bunch of dope

Probably a bunch of dope heads buying/selling who are on welfare living in section 8 housing. Obama and Pelosi want to provide them health coverage so they can get preventative care. I don’t know who is the dumbest the dopers or Hussein and Pelosi!
ps: With Obamacare they can get first class health care when they shoot one another.

They are two young men who

They are two young men who have a mother and a father neither of which are on any public assistance. Neither live in public housing, they have their own house. There aren't very many people who can say that they never went to a club, bar or party. When you make comments about people you don't know you end up looking like the business end of a sick dog. They have family and friends who are concerned of their lives, but you find a way to put your Republican clan spin on it. Tragedy happens to all, illness comes to all. What will it be if it happens to you? Would you be in the hospital with a laptop typing those same statements about yourself? Use your heart and if you don't have one, get one from your Grand Dragon.

ADA - You were making good

ADA - You were making good points without the "Republican" and "Grand Dragon" slurs adding anything to it. Where do we send the donations to get them some marksmanship training?

No one deserves to be shot

No one deserves to be shot and hopefully they will soon catch the shooters. Additionally, they should charge the victims with under-age drinking if that was the case and/or false ID's if they possess them - otherwise, the club is at fault and needs further investigation.

Sounds like a bunch of losers

Sounds like a bunch of losers from that Club Dreams. The City of Aiken will not put up with very much of that stuff going on in that dump. I wonder if Club Dreams is a runoff effect of the hoodlum club North Augusta shut down a few months back?

Okay, the Republican and

Okay, the Republican and Grand Dragon comments were out of line, but I Know both of those young men. CarlosC when it comes to markmenship training, the markman might end up aiming the weapon at you. Be careful what you ask for. This is not about the government nor is about bad aiming. It shouldn't make a difference if a person wants to go out on a Friday night or on a Sunday, that is the entire point of having freedoms. Get past the time, venture past the day... get to the point where you see two people were shot who did not ask for it. They both have to recover from all of this, not you. The same way you wolud want respect for your family in a time of distress, give it to them. Yes we all are entitled to an opinion, but these comments went past opinion straight to personal. Race, religion, political views and financial backgrounds aren't relevant... life is. Please believe me when I say, their family and friends are all thankful that they are here to learn from this, heal and move on. Whether the comments were helpful or hurtful, life will continue to go on for all. Thanks, but we wont allow the devil to enter here. They are alive and that is what is most important, you don't have to agree. Try to live a blessed life.
