ATLANTA -- Atlanta police are investigating the fatal shooting of a Georgia State University student.
Police say 20-year-old Maxwell Fiandt was found shot Wednesday night just outside the loft apartment where he lived.
Atlanta police Lt. Keith Meadows says one of Fiandt's roommates heard a struggle and came out to check and then heard a gunshot.
Meadows says witnesses say they saw two men fleeing the building. He says investigators believe Fiandt was shot while struggling with at least one of the two men.
