A second man has been charged in a fatal shooting on Dec. 28, and investigators are looking for a third.
Richmond County sheriff's Lt. Scott Peebles said today that Marqueem Jermaine Mays, 25, of Cranbrook Drive, has been charged in the death of Henry Stokes at 1931 Cleveland St. Mays, who was already in custody, was charged this afternoon with murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Bennie Lorenzo Bell, 22, who was arrested earlier this month, faces charges of murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to an article in The Augusta Chronicle.
Authorities are also seeking Dominique Demario Ellis, 22, of Murphy Road, on charges of murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, Lt. Peebles said. Investigators say that Ellis should be considered armed and dangerous and that he is known to frequent area hotels and the Harrisburg area.
Anyone with information on Ellis can call the Richmond County Sheriff's Office at (706) 821-1080.

Authorities are seeking Dominique Demario Ellis in connection with a fatal shooting on Dec. 28. Two other men have already been arrested in the case. SPECIAL

I think Mays is a recent

I think Mays is a recent section 8 graduate to the area. That whole street he shacked on has gone completely section 8 because the owners think they are making a fortune in rent. In reality the houses have gone completely to crap. I wonder if there was a shoot to kill order out for the boy with a girls name, if he would give himself up today?

Disssman-Section 8 is a two

Disssman-Section 8 is a two way street. The landlords are garaunteed their rent and the renters are garaunteed their rent will be paid, or at least a good portion of it. Hence, the landlords attract a low end clientele who could care less. Blame the government for this one.(Not the crime, but the section 8)

Well the article says he was

Well the article says he was already in custody and was just charged with these crimes. Apparently between when the murder occurred and now, he had been arrested for something else. I don't know, that's how I read it.

Mirrorman. Actually the

Mirrorman. Actually the people living in section 8 could care less where they live. They are going to trash it one way or another. You can take the people out of the ghetto, but it is sometimes impossible to take the ghetto out of people. What I think is absolutely funny, is watching the owners when they find out their investment has been gutted or ruined and it needs thousands to restore to a rentable condition after just a few months of section 8 use. I am with you though, it is because we have NO rules for people to act like humans, tyhat these people continue to show contempt for the rest of society. Just remember there is NO process for reporting section 8 problems.

You've got a point disssman.

You've got a point disssman. Section 8 is another government subsidy program that knocks the self respect legs from the recipient...along with many other programs. The subsidy sub-culture is the product. America's decline is a direct result. People for sale.
