William Few Parkway is reopened today after a single-vehicle crash closed one lane.
At about 2:20 p.m., Michael Bailey, 18, of Evans, drifted off the right side of northbound William Few Parkway about a half mile from Washington Road. Bailey was distracted when he veered off the road, Columbia County sheriff's Deputy Bobby Bradford said.
Bailey jerked his Nissan Sentra back onto the roadway, overcorrected and rolled over on the right shoulder, Bradford said.
He was transported to Eisenhower Army Medical Center with non-life-threatened injuries.
Yep, driving and text messaging is a distraction. But, of course deny, deny, deny.
Hopefully he'll be OK, as the speed limit is 45 MPH on William Few Raceway.
I don't believe the article says anything about texting right now from what I saw crackerjack.
Yes, thank you very much ghsfrshmn i totally agree with you. This is the sister of Michael Bailey, Natasha Bailey, writing to let everyone know that my brother is wonderful and by the Grace of God back at home.
As he was driving his distraction was puttin his card in his pocket NOT TEXTING crackerjack! And as stated he veered of the road, jerked his Nissan Sentra back onto the roadway, overcorrected and rolled over on the right shoulder...he flipped 4 times. NO where saying he was doing over 45 mph, as you tried to throw in "hope he's okay"
So comments like you left Crackerjack seem more humorous than showing concern for something thats very serious and towards somebody important to me. Comments like that can be left unstated.
