Richmond County fugitive captured

    A fugitive sex offender from Richmond County was arrested today in Columbia County.
    According to Columbia County Sheriff's Office Capt. Steve Morris, Anthony Alexander Burns, 29, was arrested in Columbia County for a probation violation.
    Richmond County Inv. Charles Mulherin said on Tuesday that Burns had fled from the supervision of the sheriff's office and the Augusta Probation Office.
