School board's Venus Cain in hospital

Richmond County school board member Venus Cain has been admitted to the hospital, school system spokesman Louis Svehla confirmed today.

She is at University Hospital and is listed in good condition, said Steve Crawford, a spokesman for University.

Svehla said he wasn't yet sure why Cain was taken to the hospital but that school officials are checking into the situation.
