Richmond County school officials announced today their 2009-10 spelling bee winners.
Logan McElroy, of Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School, took first place systemwide, according to a release. Kaitlin Woods, of Hephzibah Middle, placed second.
On the elementary level, Christiana Horn, of C.T. Walker Magnet, finished in first while Alana Gould, of Meadowbrook Elementary, finished in second. For the middle school level, McElroy took first and Woods took second.
