Four suspects identified in fatal weekend shooting

Investigators have released the names of four people arrested in connection to the murder of a former Westside High School running back at McDonald’s on Deans Bridge Road Sunday morning.

Those facing murder, aggravated assault and gun charges include:

Sean Christopher Bryant, 19, of Alex Lane

Harry Lee Jones, 21, of Wharton Drive

Kevin Antwan Williams, 19, of Stevens Road

Jones is also charged with possession of a firearm by a first offender, Richmond County Sheriff’s Lt. Scott Peebles said in a press release.

A fourth man, Marques Antonio Robinson, 20, of Steven Road, is charged with making false statements in a government matter. He is the half brother of Williams.

Deputies were called to the McDonald’s at 2624 Deans Bridge Road at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday and learned that 22-year-old Sergio Campbell had been shot multiple times and then taken from the scene by friends. He was pronounced dead at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital a short time later.

Authorities have not released any other details in the case but said more arrests are possible.
